    Embedded Control System of DC Motor Using Microcontroller Arduino and PID Algorithm

    The development of technology has a positive effect on the trade sector, creating smartphones that can be utilized in all activities combined with the internet network. Activity that is currently growing is a mobile trader in the city of Pekanbaru. This development caused much competition, for example, in the Pekanbaru city area, especially in Sialangmunggu village. Traders around is difficult to find consumers because consumers do not have precise location and time information. Therefore, researchers aim to design and build applications by utilizing the functions of google maps and GPS (Global Positioning System) where the Algorithm to be applied is the A* algorithm whose function is to find the nearest location between buyers to mobile merchants, to accommodate data from mobile merchants where buyers can know the nearest position of the traveling merchant. Process analysis will be divided into running analysis that discusses the workings of the process of mobile traders and buyers in the field. Then the proposed system analysis of the analysis will be made by the author to maximize the process on the current analysis. By making analysis and design, the author will know the needs needed in the creation of the system. The result of using method A* is applied to displaying the merchant's route with the user, and the result can provide the fastest route to get to the trader. The use of method A* is also done to find the trader whose location is closest to the user's location, and the result can display the nearest trader

    Studi Komparatif Perubahan Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Komunikasi Pelayanan Publik Di Kabupaten Bojonegoro (Studi Kasus Sebelum Dan Saat Kepemimpinan Bupati Suyoto)

    Kepemimpinan dianggap sebagai salah satu faktor pendukung penting dalam mereformasi pelayanan publik (Colgan, Rochford, & Burke, 2016). Dalam menjalankan praktek kepemimpinan, seorang pemimpin membutuhkan gaya kepemimpinan guna mendorong keberhasilan dalam mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan (Masmuh, 2008, h.266). Komunikasi juga sangat dibutuhkan dalam menunjang pelaksanaan pemberian pelayanan publik yang terbaik bagi para pelanggan. (Muwafik, 2014). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perubahan gaya kepemimpinan dan komunikasi pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Bojonegoro pada sebelum dan saat kepemimpinan Bupati Suyoto. Gaya kepemimpinan dilihat dari karakteristik otoriter, birokratis, demokratis, laissez faire, transformasional dan transaksional. Sementara komunikasi pelayanan publik dilihat dari tiga elemen penting menurut Saleh (2004), yaitu Communicator Performance Image, Multiple Image, dan Corporate Image. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat komparatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui depth interview, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah pegawai dengan masa kerja lebih dari sepuluh tahun dan masyarakat pengguna layanan publik. Perubahan gaya kepemimpinan sangat jelas terlihat dimana sebelum kepemimpinan Bupati Suyoto birokrasinya berbelit-belit, tertutup, praktek suap menyuap, dan tidak adanya inovasi. Sementara Bupati Suyoto merupakan pemimpin dengan karakter transformasional yang kuat dengan mengedepankan keterbukaan, inovatif, kreatif, religius, dan adaptif. Dengan karakter tersebut, Bupati Suyoto berhasil menciptakan iklim komunikasi organisasi yang lebih terbuka, langsung, dan transparan yang pada akhirnya bisa berdampak pada komunikasi pelayanan publik. Perubahan komunikasi pelayanan publik yang paling menonjol adalah pada segi fisik dan tranparansi serta bebas diskriminasi. Meskipun begitu, terdapat faktor eksternal seperti perubahan sumber pendapatan daerah dan perkembangan teknologi yang juga berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan perubahan yang diusung Bupati Suyoto

    Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Tuning of PID Control on DC Motor

    The use of DC motors is now common because of its advantages and has become an important necessity in helping human activities. Generally, motor control is designed with PID control. The main problem that is often discussed in PID is parameter tuning, namely determining the value of the Kp, Ki, and Kd parameters in order to obtain optimal system performance. In this study, one method for tuning PID parameters on a DC motor will be used, namely the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. Parameter optimization using the PSO method has stable results compared to other methods. The results of tuning the PID controller parameters using the PSO method on the MATLAB Simulink obtained optimal results where the value of Kp = 8.9099, K = 2.1469, and Kd = 0.31952 with the value of rise time of 0.0740, settling time of 0.1361 and overshoot of 0. Then the results of hardware testing by entering the PID value in the Arduino IDE software produce a stable motor speed response where Kp = 1.4551, Ki= 1.3079, and Kd = 0.80271 with a rise time value of 4.3296, settling time of 7.3333 and overshoot of 1

Education for Sustainability as a teaching strategy for resolving community challenges through formal, informal, or non-formal education is expected to benefit from various community service best practices by academics, researchers, and students. The 3rd ICCEESD has “Strengthening Education for Sustainability Towards Better Community Engagement” as its theme this year.
